Description: 6600` elevation. Campground is situated in Ponderosa Pines and has 70 barrier-free spacious campsites. It is only 4.3 miles from Grand Canyon National Park. There is a nature trail which originates at this campground. Group sites are available, and there are regularly scheduled naturalist programs during the busy summer months.

  • Winter stays late in the Kaibab and there are plenty of opportunities for skiing and snowplay. Hunting for antelope, black bear, elk, and white tail deer. Birdwatching. Hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding. Stream fishing for trout. Ride the historic Grand Canyon Railroad.
